Welcome to SJ Therapy and Coaching

Safe, compassionate support for trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and relationship struggles. 


I offer a grounded, trauma-informed therapy space for adults and teenagers (16+) who are ready to explore the deeper layers of their emotional experience. Whether you're feeling stuck in survival mode, navigating the impact of abuse, or struggling with anxiety, shame, or self-worth — this space is here to support you, at your pace. 


I am a qualified psychodynamic counsellor with over 13 years of experience, specialising in trauma, nervous system healing, and the long-term effects of narcissistic and emotional abuse. I’ve worked with a wide range of issues including:


  • Complex trauma and PTSD 
  • Childhood emotional neglect and developmental trauma 
  • Narcissistic abuse and relational trauma 
  • Sexual abuse
  • Anxiety, panic, and emotional regulation 
  • Low self-worth, shame, and inner criticism 
  • Relationship difficulties, boundaries, and attachment wounds 
  • Burnout and freeze responses 
  • Feeling "not good enough" or like you're always coping but never healing 
  • Chronic people-pleasing and self-abandonment
  • Hyper-independence rooted in survival coping
  • Emotional flashbacks or shutdowns with no clear trigger
  • Loss of identity after long-term toxic relationships

Alongside psychodynamic therapy, I integrate a trauma-informed and body-based approach, using: 


  • Nervous system mapping 
  • Parts work (inspired by IFS) 
  • Somatic awareness and regulation tools 
  • Gentle trauma processing techniques 
  • Psychoeducation to support understanding and self-compassion 


This isn't just about talking — it's about listening to the parts of you that may have been silenced, shamed, or overwhelmed for years. 


Session Info: 

Session length: 50 minutes 

Fee: £50 per session 

Format: Online (Teams/WhatsApp) Or Telephone

Availability: Weekly, fortnightly, or ad-hoc — depending on your needs 


Some clients come to therapy for a short, focused period. Others stay longer-term. You’re welcome either way. We’ll work together to find the right rhythm and support for you.
