Hi, I’m Stacey — a trauma-informed therapist and somatic coach.
I support people who feel stuck in survival mode, disconnected from their bodies, and burdened by patterns they can’t seem to break — often rooted in childhood trauma, emotional neglect, or narcissistic abuse.
Through a compassionate blend of psychotherapy, somatic awareness, and parts work (IFS-inspired), I help you gently reconnect to yourself, regulate your nervous system, and feel safe enough to heal — without shame, rushing, or abandoning yourself again.
I work with survivors of emotional abuse, people-pleasers, perfectionists, those who feel “too much” or “not enough,” and anyone who’s ever been told their pain was an overreaction. If you’re exhausted from trying to “fix” yourself and want to feel whole again — I’m here to support you.
I first trained as a psychodynamic counsellor because I was drawn to understanding the deeper “why” behind our patterns — how our earliest experiences shape how we relate, cope, and carry pain. In my early work, I supported clients with a wide range of issues, but I found myself continually drawn to those living with the impact of trauma — especially survivors of abuse.
For over 13 years, I worked in specialist trauma services, including Rape Crisis, supporting people who had experienced the most profound forms of harm. I witnessed firsthand how trauma lives not just in the mind, but in the body — in the tension, the numbness, the panic, the survival strategies that once protected us but now keep us stuck.
That’s what led me to deepen my approach. I wanted to offer more than traditional talk therapy. I wanted to support my clients in ways that felt safer, more embodied, and more attuned to what trauma actually feels like.
I’ve since trained extensively in trauma-informed therapy and qualified in trauma-informed somatic coaching, so I can offer both a top-down and bottom-up approach to healing. Because healing doesn’t come just from insight or analysis — it comes from learning to feel safe in your body again, to reconnect with the parts of you that had to survive, and to move at a pace that honours your nervous system.
Like many of the people I work with, I’ve had to do the work of coming home to myself — of meeting the parts of me that carried fear, shame, and self-blame, and learning to soften those edges with compassion instead of criticism.
Today, I bring that same blend of depth, humanity, and nervous system awareness to the people I work with. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, burnout, or just the quiet sense that you’ve lost connection to who you really are — this work is for you.
You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just need to feel ready to begin. And I’ll meet you exactly where you are.
